Michael L. Landsman to Present a CE Course on Fair Housing

In the field of real estate, few categories have the make or break significance of fair housing laws. Embrace diversity and equal opportunity, and you will build a broad client base with extraordinary potential for repeat business. Disregard or violate the complex fair housing and anti-discrimination rules and you could end up with significant liability, a ruined reputation and even a revoked license.

This course provides a comprehensive overview of federal and state housing laws in relation to the sale and rental of real estate. It is intended to assist real estate professionals to determine and perform the morally and legally correct actions in each situation in order to bring violations to the attention of others, and to guard against liability. Additionally, the course provides a detailed look at federal civil rights and anti-discrimination laws regarding real property transactions.

This course will be taught on Wednesday, March 6, 2019,10am – 1pm at 100 East 53rd St., 9C, New York, NY 10022 by New York Real Estate Attorney, Michael L. Landsman, Co-Managing Partner at the law firm of Holm & O’Hara LLP. Course credit will be issued upon completion and light bites sponsored by GuardHill Financial.
